7 Special operating keys
7.1 The Tare key «T»
• Effects taring
– Ensure that the balance is in the weighing mode
–Briefly press «T»
– The balance performs a tare operation.
• Effects a calibration
– Ensure that the balance is in the weighing mode
– Keep
«T» pressed until “CALIBRATION” is displayed
– Release «T»
– The balance carries out a calibration in accordance with the set-
tings in the configuration menu (cf. Chapter 5.6 “Calibration
functions”) and reports these by means of a printout.
• Carries out a calibration test
– Ensure that the balance is in the weighing mode
– Keep
«T» pressed until “TEST CALIBRATION” is displayed
– Release «T»
– The balance carries out a calibration test.
NOTE
A calibration and/or a calibration-test can be cancelled with
«ON/OFF».
