10.1.4 Activation of password protection
The possibilities for setting the password protection are described in
Chapter 5.10 “Password protection”.
In order to activate password protection, proceed as follows:
PASSWORd _ _ _ _
•Press «D» repeatedly until
“PASSWORD - - - -” appears
PASSWORd 0 0 0 0
•Press «E». The first position of
the password will flash
•Press «
D» repeatedly until the
first number of the password is
correctly displayed
PASSWORd 6 0 0 0
•Press «B»
• The second position of the pass-
word display will now flash
PASSWORd 6 1 0 0
•Press «D» repeatedly until the se-
cond number of the password is
correctly displayed
• Proceed in a similar way for the
other two numbers
• When all four numbers have been
entered, press «
E»
•Press «B»
DATA-PROTECTION OFF
• Now the current data-protection
status is displayed
“DATA-PROTECTION OFF”,
“DATA-PROTECTION MED” or
“DATA-PROTECTION HIGH”
•Press «
E»
DATA-PROTECTION OFF
• The display will flash
•Press «
D» repeatedly to alter the
password status
