START – Use this position to crank the engine. The
ignition switch is equipped with a starter protection
which inhibits turning the lever to the START
position if the lever has not previously been turned to
the OFF position.
The features activated when the engine is running
are all those described above plus the HVAC system
and daytime running lights.
