The Poll Character is removed from the data stream. If the Data
Protocol is set to ETX/ACK, ACK/NAK, or Series 1, One Char
Enquiry is automatically disabled.
IEEE 1284 Parallel (Bidirectional) Submenu
The IEEE 1284 interface is faster and more versatile than
Centronics and supports bidirectional communication. Chapter 5
discusses the available modes (Compatibility, Nibble, and Byte) in
more detail. Configuration of this interface is controlled from the
host.
