PROBLEM SOLUTION
Power
Unit does not power up. a) Conrm Power Cord is connected and plugged in to an
unswitched 110V AC Outlet.
Audio
No Sound From Speakers
Subwoofer does not turn ON/OFF with Main Room speakers
Surround Modes
a) Conrm source audio connections.
b) Conrm Audio Input Settings in OSD Source Setup.
c) Conrm speaker connections.
d) Conrm volume is turned up and un-muted.
e) Conrm source is selected, turned on and playing.
f) If connected, unplug headphones.
g) Conrm OSD Speaker Setup; run SmartEQ
h) Conrm Surround Back speakers are properly congured in
OSD Amplier Setup (Back Amp) for Main Back or Zone 2 as
appropriate.
i) Conrm Subwoofer audio connection
j) Conrm Trigger/Sub connection (if used).
k) Conrm OSD Trigger Setup (if used).
l) Increase Main Room volume or adjust sub input level to
trigger Sub audio sensing (if used).

Video
No Video Signal on TV or Video Display a) Conrm source video connections to M80.
b) Conrm Video Input Settings in OSD Source Setup.
b) Conrm HDMI/Component/S/Composite Video Monitor
OUT from M80 Monitor OUT to TV/Video Display HDMI/
Component/S/Composite Video IN.
c) Conrm proper Input is selected on the Video Display.
d) Conrm source is selected, turned on and playing.
e) Conrm Resolution to Display is set to Auto in OSD Video
Setup; adjust to lower resolution if appropriate.
Tuner
No Reception
Bad Reception
No Preset Channels
a) Conrm AM/FM antenna connections to M80.
b) Conrm antenna(s) are in best position for optimum
reception.
c) Move antenna away from possible sources of interference
such as computers, microprocessors, uorescent lights,
motors, etc.
d) Conrm Preset programming.
XM
No XM Channels other than Preview Channel
a) Conrm XM Ready Tuner connection to M80 XM Port.
b) Conrm position of XM antenna.
c) Conrm XM Satellite Radio Subscription.
