4.1 Machine Description
The picture below indicates the different areas of the machine which will require attention during the
cleaning of the machine. To aid the cleaning of the machine various interlocked guards and covers
can be opened to access areas where product and contamination may accumulate. Care must be
taken when cleaning in these areas such as under the cubicle cover which contains the film feed
and rewind drive motors. During the cleaning of the machine it is a good idea to check the
condition of the components being cleaned. If any damaged parts are found report it to your
supervisor or an engineer.
