4.3 GTR Control Panel
The electrical components of the control panel could easily be damaged by direct use of water or
cleaning solutions. The facia and control buttons should only be cleaned with a soft damp cloth or
sanitised wipes and wiped dry afterwards. Ensure the control buttons are clean as this is an area
where contamination can build up as several operators may access this area.
4.3.1 Control Panel Maintenance Checks
When cleaning the control panel carry out the following checks and report any damage to your
supervisor or an engineer:
• Check the E-Stop button operates correctly.
• The reset button operates correctly.
• Check the button shrouds are not damaged and fitted correctly.
• Check the all components are secure and function correctly.
