6.4 High Oxygen Gas Flush (IF FITTED)
If gas flushing is being carried out with a high oxygen gas mix then a special gas flush control set
up is required with different valves and controls. This set up is specially designed to use
components which are specifically designed for use in in high oxygen environments. The set-up
also provides dual redundancy of the shut-off valves to give a higher factor of safety.
On no account must components other than oxygen rated components be used.
The following precautions should be followed when operating in a high oxygen situation.
1. Always use parts approved for use with oxygen.
2. Always open supply lines or cylinders slowly.
3. Never use oil or grease to lubricate parts in the oxygen supply circuit.
4. Keep all equipment well maintained and check regularly for damage or leaks.
5. Ensure high oxygen operations are carried out in a well-ventilated area.
6. Be aware of the dangers of oxygen. If in doubt ask.

6.4.1 Turntable Removal
1. Remove base tools and top tool.
2. Undo and remove the M16 bolt located in the electrical cubical.
3. Undo and remove the M16 bolt located underneath the base plate.
4. Slide the whole table, table bearing housing and tie bar out of the machine.
5. Lower the table carefully on to the floor.
