4.6 Seal Station
The seal station can be accessed by opening the rear and front doors. This area should only be
cleaned by hand using sanitised wipes as there are electrical connections for the tooling at the rear
of the machine.
Wipe the cylinder pressure plate clean to ensure tools locate correctly.
Clean the front and rear doors especially around the handles.
Clean the door hinges and locking clips.
Wipe the cylinder guide rods.
4.6.1 Seal Station Maintenance Checks
• Check the tool guide rods for signs of wear.
• Check the pneumatic pipes and connections are secure and undamaged.
• Check the cable glands are secure and in good condition.
• Check all electrical cables and sockets are secure and in good condition.
• Check the cylinder pressure plate tooling slots
• Check the earth strap is secure and in good condition.
• Check the cylinder locknut is secure.
