When you are finished reviewing test results, press “EXIT.”
The display shows “WIRING TEST DONE.”
If RASTER™ reports a fault on any valve, you will need to
troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair the fault.
Open circuits are usually caused by:
Malfunctioning valve solenoid
Field wires that have been cut or pulled loose
Loose wire connections on the controller terminal or at
the valve solenoid
Short circuits are usually caused by:
Shorted valve solenoid
Nicked or “skinned” field wires
Loose or corroded wire connections on the controller
terminal or at the valve solenoid
After you have repaired the fault, run RASTER™ again to
verify that the problem has been corrected.
