6 ESP-LX Modular Controller
Controls, Switches, and
Indicators
This illustration shows the controls, switches, and indicators on the
ESP-LX Modular controller, including:
Programming Dial—used to turn the controller off and on,
and for programming.
Program Select Switch—used to select watering program A,
B, C, or D (D-drip).
Sensor Bypass Switch—used to tell the controller to obey or
ignore input from a sensor. (Sensors are optional.)
Display—during normal operation, displays the time of day;
during programming, shows the result of your commands;
during watering, shows the valve that is running and the
minutes remaining in its run time (when program dial is set to
the AUTO position).
Programming Buttons—used to enter and change program
information.
Alarm Light—flashes to indicate various types of alarm
conditions.
