Thissectionisforadministratorstopre‐configureauthenticationserversfortheentiresystem.Concurrentlyuptothreeservers
canbeselectedandpre‐configuredforstaticuserauthentication.Oneserverusesbuilt‐inLOCALdatabasewhiletheothertwo
serversuseexternalRADIUSdatabase.In addition,‘ONDEMAND’servercanbeconfiguredfortemporaryuserauthentication.
AuthenticationSettings:TherearefourdifferentauthenticationoptionsinMiMoHotSpotAccessPointWi‐FiRayTalk
RA‐696thatusedatabases:LOCAL ,RADIUS1,RADIUS2,ONDEMANDandFREE.LocalandOn‐demandarebuiltindatabaseswith
user credentials stored locally, and RADIUS is one of the most commonexternal authenticationdatabases. FREE is an access
option that allows users to access networks with any specified identity token on the login page. Click on the Authentication
Optionstoconfigure.
Auth Option: Set a namefor the authenticationdatabasesbyusingnumbers (0~9), alphabets(a~zor A~Z), dash (‐),
underline(_),spaceanddot(.)only.Thisnameisusedfortheadministratortoeasilyidentifytheauthenticationoptionssuchas
HQ‐RADIUS.
Postfix:Apostfixrepresentstheauthenticationserverinacompleteusername.Forexample,user1@localmeansthat
thisuser(user1)willbeauthenticatedbytheLOC
ALauthenticationdatabase.
BlackList:Thereare5setsofblacklistsprovidedbythesystem.Auseraccountlistedontheblacklistisnotallowedto
logintothesystem,theclient'saccesswillbedenied.Theadministratormayselectone(orNone)blacklistfromthedrop‐down
menuanditwillbeappliedtothisspecificauthenticationoption.
