Completing the forestay (R5 – R7)

3. Screw the furling section connector to the furling section using two screws (R6, R7: three
screws).
4. Mount a split standard bushing on the forestay and secure it with tape.
5. Slide a 1660-mm-long spacer tube on to the forestay and slide it along with the standard
bushing into the standard furling section.
6. Repeat the last two steps.
7. R5: Slide the furling section connector on to the forestay; R6, R7: mount a split connector.
8. Insert split connector bushings into the ends of the furling section connector and screw in tightly.
9. Place the threaded plate in the recess in the furling section connector.
10. Slide the furling section connector with threaded plate into the furling section.
11. Screw the furling section connector to the furling section using two screws.
