Risk of corrosion
The leather cover that the drive unit is supplied in can cause considerable corrosion
damage in combination with seawater.
Be sure to remove the leather cover before putting the furling system into operation.
Take the leather cover off the drive unit after assembling the furling system.
Stow the leather cover for protecting the drive unit during winter storage.
