→ Brake This parameter determines in which stop positions and in
which operating modes the motor brake should be actuated.
→ Without X Never brake.
→ Closed position Activate the brake in all operating modes when the door is
closed.
→ Open position If the door has reached the planned opening angle, activate
the brake in all operating modes.
→ Closed/Open position Activate the brake in all operating modes when the door is
closed and open (see above).
→ Linkage rod Determining the linkage rod used.
In master / slave systems, the linkage rod must be
configured separately for each drive.
→ Normal Standard linkage rod for pressing open movement.
→ Pulling X Sliding linkage rod for pulling open movement.
→ Pushing Sliding linkage rod for pressing open movement.
→ Inheader Special application for USA only.
→ Inverse Opening the door with spring tension in the case of power
failure.
To lock the door, the brake must be avtivated in the
closed position or a locking device must be installed.

→ Disabled X Function as base drive or configured for the door type.
→ Active Do not enable.
NOTICE
The application
Inverse
is only intended for the DFA 127 IN type drive.
If the function is enabled with a different type of drive, then the door tries to con-
tinuously deploy in operating modes
‘Automatic’, ‘One-way’
or
‘Locked’
.
→ Spring type
The spring value is read during spring learning (MF 6
light pulse).
Control option with FPC 902:
Spring type
EN 4: Value of 35-41
EN 5: Value of 42-59
EN 6: Value of 60-89
Display
Unknown
, if the value cannot be determined
or is outside the range.
From the factory, the spring is preset to door closer
size EN 4.
