Software Reset
The software can be rebooted when the machine hangs up. Use the following procedure.
Turn the main power switch off and on.
-or-
Press and hold down
and together for longer than 10 seconds. When the machine
beeps once release both buttons. After "Now loading. Please wait" is displayed for a few
seconds, the copy window will open. The machine is ready for normal operation.
System Setting Reset
The system settings in the UP mode can be reset to their defaults. Use the following
procedure.
1. Press User Tools/Counter.
2. Press and hold down
and then touch "System Settings".
3. When the message prompts you to confirm that you want to reset the system settings,
press Yes.
4. When the message tells you that the settings have been reset, press Exit.
