The pressure of the tray bottom plate [F] can be adjusted depending on the amount of paper remaining.
The pulses from the lift lever encoder [C] are detected by the tray bottom plate lift sensor [B]. The tray lift
motor is controlled based on the pulses from the encoder.
Preventing Theft of Paper (Only PB1080TE)
Paper Feed Unit PB1080TE is the optional PFU which can be locked with a key.
The key cylinder [A] is mounted on the front cover of the tray for preventing theft of paper. When the tray is
locked with a key, it cannot be pulled out. Even if the machine body is unloaded from the PFU, taking out paper
is impossible, because the plate [B] is fixed on top of the PFU.
In addition, in this model, the ribs [C] are added to the vertical transport unit. The ribs prevent from inserting
fingers into the tray and rotating the feed roller with hands.
