Appendix C: General Care and Cleaning
General Maintenance
Do not store or leave the instrument in where the instrument will be exposed to
direct sunlight for long periods of time.
Caution
To avoid damages to the instrument, do not expose it to sprays, liquids, or
solvents.
Cleaning
Inspect the instrument often based on its operating conditions require. Before
cleaning, please disconnect it from all power sources and clean it with a mild
detergent and water. Make sure the instrument is completely dry before
reconnecting it to a power source.
To clean the exterior surface, perform the following steps:
1. Remove loose dust on the outside of the instrument with a lint- free cloth.
Take care to avoid scratching the clear plastic display filter.
2. Use a soft cloth dampened with water to clean the instrument.
NOTE: To avoid damages to the surface of the instrument, do not use
any abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.
