AX10 Palletizing Solution
WARNING
Appropriate personal protective equipment as required by safe work practices must be worn when
anchoring the Solution, namely safety glasses, masks, steel-toe boots.
CAUTION
The maximum gap between the anchoring points and the ground should be 2 mm (0.08 in).
8. Add the four (4) 1/2 in-13 serrated flange nuts.
9. Tighten to a torque ranging between 68 Nm and 74 Nm (50-54 lb-ft) using a 3/4 in (19 mm) socket.
Finalization and Power On
CAUTION
The Solution should only be connected to a power source once all connections have been made
and completed. Please refer to the previous sections for more information.
1. Reinstall the front base cover using the 10 provided screws.
2. Install the column cover using the provided screws (4).
CAUTION
The column cover must be properly installed to achieve maximum structure rigidity.
3. Connect the power cable to the power outlet.
4. Pressurize the system.
5. Turn on the main power switch located on the linear axis controller.
6. Power on the robot.
WARNING
Make sure to perform a risk assessment before using the Solution.
For more details, refer to the Safety section.
3.4.5. Conveyor
The Robotiq Palletizing Solution does not come equipped with a conveyor. However, the palletizing cell, as construed in this
instruction manual, includes a conveyor. It is thus important to enforce standard EN 619 (or the equivalent in your region).
CAUTION
The appropriate safety clearance between the conveyor and the pallet must comply with the
distances set forth in the layout.
