Element Description
Step Size Fine The step size in mm that is moved during the large step-by-
step movement of the axes. In the step mode of the X or Z
axis, the rotary knob must be turned WITHOUT the knob
being pressed.
Step Size coarse The step size in mm that is moved during the small step-
by-step movement of the axes. In step mode the rotary
knob must be pressed while turning the rotary knob.
Z Ap Finish In automatic operations such as long turning, cutting is al-
ways carried out in two steps: several roughing passes and
one nal nishing pass, the thickness of the nishing pass
in mm being indicated here.
Z Ap Rough In automatic operations such as long turning, cutting is
always carried out in two steps: several roughing passes
and one nal nishing pass. The maximum thickness of the
roughing passes in mm is indicated here.
Z restposition The waiting position in Z direction. To this point, the con-
trol always moves after an operation has been completed.
