Proceed to Remove the Main Ziehl-Abegg Fan Assembly on page 117.
Remove the Main Ziehl-Abegg Fan With Adequate Clearance
Follow this procedure to remove the main fan Ziehl-Abegg fan if there is
adequate clearance above the cabinet.
1. Remove and retain the 20 M6 x 20 (6 N•m [4 lb•ft]) hardware that affixes
the fan hood to the cabinet.
2. Attach the rigging to the lifting provisions using slings with load-rated
hooks or shackles.
ATTENTION: To guard against possible personal injury or equipment
damage:
Do not allow any part of the acoustic fan hood or lift equipment to contact
electrically charged conductors or components.
Do not allow personnel or their limbs directly beneath the acoustic fan hood
during a lift.
