Remove the Main Ziehl-Abegg Fan With Adequate Clearance
Follow this procedure to remove the main fan Ziehl-Abegg fan if there is
adequate clearance above the cabinet.
1. Remove and retain the 20 M6 x 20 (6 N•m [4 lb•ft]) hardware that affixes
the fan hood to the cabinet.
2. Attach the rigging to the lifting provisions using slings with load-rated
hooks or shackles.
ATTENTION: To guard against possible personal injury or equipment
damage:
• Do not allow any part of the acoustic fan hood or lift equipment to contact
electrically charged conductors or components.
• Do not allow personnel or their limbs directly beneath the acoustic fan hood
during a lift.
