Flexible fuel line
NOTE: See SI-25-1997 “Running modifications”, latest issue.
From 2007 on, all new models will have a flexible line (6) instead of the
present rigid fuel line.
Each fuel line (6) is supported by a cable clamp (10) on the intake
manifold. These clamps are attached with allen nut M8 (11), which must
be removed.
Further the fuel line is attached with 2 cable straps (12) to the
compensation tube (13).
At the carburetors the ring hose nipple of the fuel line is installed with
a distance sleeve (7) and sealing rings (8). The banjo bolt (9) (tightening
torque 10 Nm (90 in.lb))
After that unscrew take off the fuel line.
