Notes on Downloading
• If the file does not exist when selecting the item to be downloaded, that item cannot be selected.
• Do not download the same files of “Configuration” and “Font/logo” to the different head density printers. The
font size information on these items is different depending on the head density.
• The list of initialization is downloaded when “Configuration” is selected. (The following are excluded; life
counter, head counter, cut counter, dispense counter, MAC address, BD address, Bluetooth firmware
version, main PCB REV, PLD VERSION and PCB number.)
Notes on Uploading
• When the same file already exists in the save location, the existing file will be overwritten.
• An error is detected when the folder to be uploaded cannot be found. Format the SD card or USB memory
in the memory card mode of the printer before uploading.
• An error is detected when the SD card or USB memory is write-protected. Release the write-protect before
uploading.
• An error is detected when there is no free area in the SD card or USB memory.
• The date of file creation is according to the calendar when a calendar IC is installed. When the calendar IC
is not installed, it is the firmware release date.
• The list of initialization is uploaded when “Configuration” is selected.
