4.7 Checking the Top Cover Open Error
1 Press the power switch on the operator
panel to “I” position.
2 When the printer is in online mode, open
the top cover .
Make sure that the printer shows the COVER
OPEN error messages, and along with the
buzzer sounds.
3 If no error occurs, check the connection of
the cover open sensor connector.
If there is no problem, replace the sensor. Refer to
Section 5.14 Replacing the Top Cover Sensor for
details.
