Instant heater does not heat up

 Faulty power PCB, power relay, cabling
or plug

Safety thermostat(s)  Safety thermostat(s) triggered as a re-
sult of over-temperature in the instant
heater
 Find out the cause of the over-heating;
reset the safety thermostat, or if there
are visible traces of the effects of heat,
replace.
Unit control system  defective  replace (see “Maintenance, unit control
system”)
 Load machine data (counter and set-
tings) to new unit control system
Programming
 Tea instant heater heating is locked  Correct the programming (see pro-
gramming instructions)
Over-pressure in instant heater

 Power PCB, power relay defective (con-
tacts bonded, and thus no longer switch
