Operating condition
When the milk door is shut, there is a signal present at plug X9 3.
Symptoms
No signal present when the milk door is shut. “Milk door open” message displays. The 36VS electrical circuit has been inter-
rupted by the main relay.

 Check the voltage supply (see
“Power PCB, control voltage”)
 Voltage supply failure / faulty

Measure voltage at plug-in con-
nection (1,2) between machine
and refrigerator (interface)
36 V DC ?
 Plug contacts on power PCB
faulty / oxidised
 Cable broken or pulled out of plug
 Check / replace plug contacts
 Replace cable

Measure voltage at the connec-
tion terminal to the cover switch:
36 V DC ?
 Plug contacts faulty / oxidised
 Cable broken or pulled out of
terminal / plug
 The switch is faulty
 The switch is not sufficiently de-
pressed; milk door not fully closed
 Mechanical defect on fastening
device
 Check / replace plug contacts
 Replace cable or reinsert it into
the terminal
 Replace the switch
 Check the switch / milk door and
adjust
 Replace faulty parts

Measure voltage at plug X9 3 on
power PCB:
36 V DC ?
 Plug contacts on power PCB
faulty / oxidised
 Cable broken or pulled out of plug
 Check / replace plug contacts
 Replace cable
Restart the machine
If the “milk door open” message
continues to display:
 Faulty unit control system  Replace unit control system
