5.4.5 Grinder

Preparations
Dismantle the bean container
Dismantle the cup plate
Dismantle the casings
Dismantling the tubulure
1. Remove coffee beans from the tubulure (with a vacuum
cleaner)
2. Unscrew the screws from the support
3. Gradually lift the tubulure upwards
4. Remove the covering ring
Dismantling the grinder
5. Remove coffee beans from the grinder (with a vacuum
cleaner)
6. Loosen the hexagon nuts on the fastening plate and
remove with the spring lock washers
7. Disconnect the motor connection: Pull out the flat plug
8. Remove the grinder
Repair (see 5.5.2)
Dismantle / replace the stern tube bearing / worm gear /
grinding degree disk.
Dismantle / replace the grinder blades
Replace the powder outlet
Dismantle / replace the grinder motor
Electrical check
See section entitled “Control system diagram, left-hand
grinder”
See section entitled “Control system diagram, right-hand
grinder”
Installation
Check the covering ring for cracks and defective spots
Check the cable and connections for insulation faults
Carry out work steps 8 … 7…6…4…3…2 in reverse order to
the dismantling process.
