Operating condition
When the refrigerator is switched on (temperature controller open) the cooling unit motor is supplied with mains power.
Symptoms
The cooling unit motor and ventilator are not functioning.

Mains voltage ?
Check the mains connection (see
“mains connection”)
Fault in mains connection

Measure voltage at plug-in con-
nection between machine and
refrigerator (interface)
Mains voltage ?
Plug contacts faulty / oxidised
Cable broken or pulled out of plug
Check / replace plug contacts
Replace cable

Set the temperature controller to
the highest setting, make a visual
control as to whether the ventila-
tor is running
Faulty thermostat
Faulty connecting cable to refrige-
rator or thermostate / connections

Replace thermostat

The compressor should now be
operating.
