6.5.12 Limit switch for brewing unit

Operating condition
When the brewing unit is correctly installed and the brewing cylinder is in the correct position, the switch is actuated and a signal
is present at plug X 13 4.
Symptoms
No signal present when the brewing unit is installed. “Piston motor timeout” message displays. The 36VS electrical circuit has
been interrupted by the main relay.

Check the voltage supply (see

Voltage supply failure / faulty

Take voltage measurement at
terminals for right-hand holding
blade:
36 V DC ?
Plug contacts on unit control sys-
tem faulty / oxidised
Cable broken or pulled out of
terminal / plug
The switch is faulty
Switch insufficiently depressed;
brewing unit not correctly fitted
Faulty brewing unit
Mechanical defect on fastening
device
Check / replace plug contacts
Replace cable or reinsert it into
the terminal
Replace the switch
Check the switch / brewing unit
and adjust
Replace brewing unit
Replace faulty parts
