With serial number
Here you can select, whether a serial number (device number) is to be used. If a printer is connected, the
serial number appears on the protocol print-out. If a software is used for collecting the test results
(PrintCom, NetCom), this number is transmitted and stored together with the test result.
off: without serial number
Input: The serial number must be entered before every test process (up to 32 digits)
automatic: When starting the test, the serial number is generated automatically.
With the button & the serial number can be put together.
These are the variables that can be used for the automatic serial number:
P = Project number of the testing device. This number was allocated by Schleich and appears on
the label of the testing device.
S = counter (printer counter in the printer menu)
N = network address
If a clock is installed, the following variables can be used, also:
D = day
M = month
J = year
h = hour
m = minute
s = secons
e.g. PS => project number 2345 and the counter => 23451273
The indicated number after a variable stands for the amount of digits of this variable. The missing digits are
replaced by spaces.
e.g. PS8 => 2345 1273
If a zero is entered before this number, the missing digits are replaced by zeros.
e.g. PS08 => 234500001273
Additional characters indicated in inverted commas are inserted into the serial number.
e.g. P“.“S08 => 2345.00001273
e.g. P“test“S08 => 2345test00001273
With name of user
Here you can select, whether the name of the user is to be entered before the test. This user name will be
inquired once after switching on the device. A new user can log in only after switching the device off and on.
