"Protocol":
You set the communication protocol here:
MODBUS RTU
SEAbus
"Response time":
If the Power Monitoring Device communicates over the RS 485 bus with an older
MODBUS module from another manufacturer, it may be necessary to delay the response of
a slave to a request from the master. The response time corresponds to the set baud rate. At
baud rates ≥ 19200 bit/s, the response time corresponds to a character interval of at least
3.5 with regard to the configured baud rate.
Table 9- 3 Setting options
Setting Meaning
0 = Auto The device automatically sets a response time suitable to the baud rate. This is
the minimal response time.
1 ... 255 Response time in ms
If you change the baud rate to a value that does not suit the response time set, the program
sets the response time to "Auto".
Table 9- 4 Performance calculation
Baud rate Calculated response time
4800 baud At least 9 ms
9600 baud At least 5 ms
≥ 19,200 baud At least 3 ms
