174 丨 Maintenance and Care
• When the temperature is below freezing, use
washer fluid with antifreeze to prevent the washer
pump, fluid reservoir, and washer tubing from
freezing.
• Do not use the washer when the fluid reservoir is
empty to avoid damaging the washer.
• Avoid using homemade windshield glass cleaning
solutions, as these liquids may cause streaks and
stains on the windshield glass.
Coolant Check
Coolant serves functions such as antifreeze, high-
temperature resistance, and corrosion prevention.
Adequate coolant is crucial for the normal operation of the
power system. Refer to the maintenance information for
replacement intervals; please see the maintenance
schedule table (refer to page 160).
If the coolant reservoir fluid level is below the MIN mark or
if the coolant warning " " indicator on the instrument
panel is illuminated, contact the dealer for inspection
promptly.
Responding to Warning Symbols
When the coolant temperature is too high, the coolant
temperature high " " indicator on the instrument display
screen will illuminate.
Take the following measures when a warning is issued:
• Park the vehicle by the side of the road.
• Turn off the power, power down the vehicle to allow it
to cool.
• If the warning message persists even when the
coolant fluid level is correct, do not continue driving.
• Troubleshoot the issue.
• It is recommended to check the cooling system
before the onset of winter to ensure that the
coolant is sufficient for winter weather conditions.
This is especially important if you plan to drive to
cold regions.
• Do not remove the coolant reservoir cap; coolant
should only be filled by the dealer.
If the " " indicator lamp for high engine coolant
temperature remains illuminated on the instrument
display screen after the vehicle has been parked for a
while, please contact the dealer promptly.
