d. Horizontal paper transport clutch
1) Remove the 1/2 paper feed drive unit.
(See “(1) 1/2 paper feed drive unit”)
2) Remove the 1/2 paper feed drive frame lower.
(See “a. Vertical paper transport motor”)
3) Disconnect the connector and remove the harness clamp, and
remove the horizontal paper transport clutch.
4) Remove the E-ring, and remove the horizontal paper transport
clutch.
e. Paper feed clutch (Paper feed tray 2)
1) Remove the 1/2 paper feed drive unit.
(See “(1) 1/2 paper feed drive unit”)
2) Remove the 1/2 paper feed drive frame lower.
(See “a. Vertical paper transport motor”)
3) Disconnect the connector and remove the harness clamp, and
remove the paper feed clutch (paper feed tray 2).
4) Remove the E-ring, and remove the paper feed clutch (paper
feed tray 2).
f. Paper pickup solenoid (Paper feed tray 2)
1) Remove the 1/2 paper feed drive unit.
(See “(1) 1/2 paper feed drive unit”)
2) Remove the 1/2 paper feed drive frame lower.
(See “a. Vertical paper transport motor”)
3) Remove the paper pickup solenoid unit.
4) Remove the paper pickup solenoid.
* When installing, check that the solenoid plunger is inserted
in the arm.
