Electronic keying According to need:

Exact match: major revision and minor revision must be
identical in the configuration and in the device.
•
Compatible module: the major revision must be identical
in the configuration and in the device. The minor revi‐
sion in the device must be greater than or the same as
the minor revision in the configuration.
The Minor Revision may be larger on newer units than on
older units. The Compatible Module setting allows the control‐
ler configuration to remain unchanged when a device is
replaced with a newer device.
