8.11 Profile meta data
Profile meta data are tagged blocks of data, that are sent together with the image data.
In Ranger3, profile meta data are used to add additional data to the image data. The
profile meta data can only be added for 3D images. The following meta data is available
for each buffer:
The value of the encoder counter for each line in the buffer.
The timestamp for each line in the buffer.
The height of the buffer.
The width of the buffer.
The scaling information to transform the raw data into mm (calibrated and recti‐
fied data) or pixels (uncalibrated data).
To enable profile meta data, select the Profile meta data checkbox.
