The fault status of the IE switch is shown here. The following table contains

possible error messages. If more than one problem has occurred, they are listed in the text
box one above the other. You will find a complete list of the error messages in the section
"Auto-Hotspot".
Redundant power line down
The redundant power supply has failed.
Link down on monitored port
The connection to a monitored port is interrupted.
More than one RM in ring More than one device in the ring has adopted the function of
Non-recoverable ring error These errors cannot be resolved by the redundancy manager.
There can, for example, be a loss of redundancy frames sent by
the redundancy manager at one end, without there being a link
down. An incorrectly configured second redundancy manager in
the ring also causes this error message.
In the first case, check the configuration of the ring ports:
• Suitable setting for the operating mode (full duplex/half du-
plex)?
• With fiber-optic cables: Send and receive cables correctly
plugged in?
In the second case:
Reconfigure the second redundancy manager in the ring so that
this adopts the suitable client role or remove the device from the
No Fault The switch has not detected a fault (the signaling contacts have
not responded and the fault LED is not lit).
