Changing the network configuration
Overview
You can change the network settings for the LAN connection under "Network & Dial-Up
Connections".
Requirement - changing LAN connection settings
You have opened the following display by touching the "Network&Dial-Up Connections"
icon.
Proceed as follows:
1. Open the "LAN90001" entry.
– The "'SMC LAN91C111 Ethernet' Settings" dialog opens.
2. Select either automatic address assignment via DHCP or manual address assignment.
3. If you assign the address manually, enter the corresponding addresses in the entry fields
for "IP Address", "Subnet Mask" and, if used, "Default Gateway".
