Select a role. Users who are authenticated with the linked group on the RADIUS server
receive the rights of this role locally on the device.
You can choose between system-defined and self-defined roles, refer to the page
"Security > Users > Roles.".

Enter a description for the link of the group.to a role. The description text can be up to
100 characters long.
Procedure
Linking a group to a role.
1. Enter the name of a group.
2. Click the "Create" button.
3. Select a role.
4. Enter a description for the link of a group.to a role.
5. Click the "Set Values" button.
Deleting the link between a group and a role
1. Select the check box in the row to be deleted.
2. Click the "Delete" button. The entries are deleted and the page is updated.
Passwords
Configuration of the passwords of users
Note
If you are logged in via a RADIUS server, you cannot change an
y passwords.
On this page, you can change passwords of users. If you are logged in with the right to
change device parameters, you can change the passwords for all user accounts. If you are
logged on as user, you can only change your own password.
