An interval value can be specified for each variable provided. As soon as the
variable value has exceeded the initiating value, the trigger is initiated and a new
count interval begins. The trigger value is incremented by the configured interval
value. If several counters are combined in one trigger, the first counter to exceed
the interval limit triggers the trigger. A new count interval then starts for all counters
that are combined in the trigger.
