--- OFF The electronics power supply is missing or lies outside permissible
tolerance range.

Green Steady light A different device is connected to port x and a physical connection exists.
--- OFF The electronics power supply is missing or lies outside permissible
tolerance range.

Yellow Steady light Component active (DC link discharge via braking resistor in progress).
--- OFF If the link port LED is green:
The CBE20 is operating normally, data is being exchanged with the
configured IO Controller.
Flashing - The response monitoring time has elapsed.
- Communication has been interrupted.
- The IP address is incorrect.
- Incorrect or missing configuration.
- Incorrect parameterization.
- Incorrect or missing device name.
- IO Controller not present/switched off but Ethernet connection present.
- Other CBE20 errors

Red
Steady light CBE20 bus fault
- No physical connection to a subnet/switch.
- Incorrect transmission rate.
- Full-duplex transmission not activated.
--- OFF If the link port LED is green:
Control Unit task system is not synchronized with the IRT clock. An
internal substitute clock is generated.
Flashing Control Unit task system has synchronized with the IRT clock and data is
being exchanged.
Sync
Green
Steady light Task system and MC-PLL have synchronized with the IRT clock.
--- OFF Electronic power supply is missing or outside permissible tolerance
range.
Communication Board either defective or not inserted.
Steady light Communication Board is ready and cyclic communication is taking place. Green
0.5 Hz flashing
light
The Communication Board is ready, but cyclic communication is not yet
taking place.
Possible causes:
- At least one fault is pending.
- Communication is being established.
Steady light Cyclic communication via PROFINET has not yet been established.
However, acyclic communication is possible. SINAMICS is waiting for a
parameterization/configuration telegram.
OPT on

0.5 Hz flashing
light
The firmware download to the CBE20 has failed.
Possible causes:
- The CBE20 is defective.
- The CompactFlash card for the Control Unit is defective.
In this state, the CBE20 cannot be used.
