9.8 Limit and protective functions
9.8.1 Maximum limitation of the room temperature
If a room temperature sensor is connected, maximum limitation of the room tempera-
ture can be activated.
In contrast to room temperature influence with modulating action on the flow tempera-
ture setpoint, maximum limitation of the room temperature works with 2-position control.
When the actual room temperature exceeds the room temperature setpoint by the
adjustable room limitation increase, the heating circuit pump will be deactivated.
When the pump is deactivated, the heating circuit does not call for heat.
When the actual room temperature drops below the switch-off point by the room tem-
perature’s switching differential, the heating circuit pump will be activated.
