REMOVAL
Remove engine protective plate.
Obstruct fuel line with a hose pincher (P/N 295 000
076), as shown in the next photo.
Drain fuel from carburetor by loosening screw
no. 1, as shown in the next photo.
TO DRAIN CARBURETOR
1. Loosen this screw
Loosen fuel strainer cup no. 2 and remove from
carburetor. Keep O-ring no. 3, as shown in the next
photo.
REMOVE FUEL STRAINER CUP
1. O-ring
2. Fuel strainer cup
Disconnect fuel inlet line from carburetor and drain
fuel from tank.
Remove fuel tank.
Remove carburetor cap.
Detach choke cable from choke cable attachment
no. 4, located on carburetor choke lever no. 6.

WARNING
When draining a fuel tank or whenever a fuel
line is disconnected, obstruct line with a hose
pincher (P/N 295 000 076) or equivalent de-
vice. Fuel is flammable and explosive under
certain conditions. Ensure work area is well
ventilated. Do not smoke or allow open
flames or sparks in the vicinity.
