11.1 Registering the ClusterController in SunnyPortal
No combination of ClusterController and SunnyWebBox in one SunnyPortal
system
In a SunnyPortal system, the ClusterController must not be used in combination with the
SunnyWebBox.
If there is already a SunnyWebBox in the SunnyPortal system where you want to
integrate the ClusterController, delete the SunnyWebBox from the SunnyPortal system
before registering the ClusterController (see user manual of the ClusterController in
SunnyPortal).
Procedure:
1. Select the ClusterController in the system tree and select the menu Settings in the device
menu.
2. If there is a proxy server in your LAN, make the proxy settings on the user interface of the
ClusterController (see Section17.2, page87). This ensures that the ClusterController can
establish a connection to SunnyPortal via the proxy server.
3. Select the parameter group SunnyPortal > Basic settings.
4. Select [Edit].
5. Activate data transmission to SunnyPortal. Select the entry Yes in the drop-down list Use
SunnyPortal.
6. Make the user settings in the group User settings:
In the field E-mail, enter the e-mail address to which SunnyPortal is to send the access
data.
The system identifier is automatically entered in the field ID of PV system. Together
with the e-mail address and the system name, the system identifier is a unique
identifier of the system in SunnyPortal.
In the field PV system name, enter the name under which the system is to be displayed
in SunnyPortal.
7. Select [Save].
8. Perform the registration in SunnyPortal. Select [Execute] in the field Register in the group
Status and Actions.
The ClusterController synchronizes the system time with SunnyPortal and carries out the
registration. OK is displayed in the field Result of the last registration and SunnyPortal
sends the access data to the specified e-mail address.
The registration of the other devices in the system is performed automatically.
The result of the registration attempt is logged in the event log (see Section9.1, page51).
The registration has failed?
Rectify the error (see Section18.2, page96).
