line-in level is automatically assigned when you select the source icon. If
the volume sounds too low, you can select a higher line level. You may ex-
perience clipping at higher volume levels if you set the level too high.
Using the Sonos Controller 200
From the Music Menu:
• To play music from this line-in source, select Line-In, select the source, and
touch Play Now.
• To change the name of this device, select Settings>ZonePlayer Settings. Se-
lect the ZonePlayer this source is connected to, and then touch Line-In Source
Name. Select a new name from the list, or type a unique name.
• To change the line-in level, select Settings>ZonePlayer Settings. Select the
ZonePlayer this source is connected to, and then touch Line-In Source Level.
Select a new level.
A default (typical) line-in level is automatically assigned when you select a
source name. If the volume sounds too low, you can select a higher line level for
this device. You may experience clipping at higher volume levels if you set the
level too high.
To change the line-in encoding for a device, see "Changing the line-in encoding
setting" on page 2-29.
Using the Sonos Controller for iPhone
From the Music Menu, tap Line-In.
• To play music from this source—select Line-In from the Music Menu. Tap to
select the source, and tap Play Now.
• To change the name of this device—tap Settings>ZonePlayer Settings. Select
the ZonePlayer this source is connected to, and then tap Line-In Source
Name. Select a new name from the list, or tap the name field to enter a unique
name.
• To change the line-in level—tap Settings>ZonePlayer Settings. Tap to select
the ZonePlayer this source is connected to, and then tap Line-In Source Level.
Select a new level and then press Done.
