Reverberation(or“reverb”forshort)isthecomplexeffectcreatedbythewayweperceivesoundinanenclosed
space. Reverb is dependent on many features of that space, including the size, shape and the type of materials
that line the walls. Reverb is a natural component of the acoustic experience, and most people feel that
something is missing without it.

HF Damping
Bydampingthehighfrequenciesyoucan‘tunein’amorenaturalreverberation.
TIME
ReverbTime(milliseconds)
The amount of time it takes for the reverberation tail to decay. Reverb time is an aural indication of the type
of space - large effective spaces have longer reverb times than small absorbent ones.
BASS
Bass Gain
Adding bass to a reverberant signal can help thicken audio that is been weakened by the reverberation algo-
rithm, or create greater clarity in low frequencies that is sometimes masked by reverberation.
LPF
Low Pass Filter Frequency
Higherfrequencysettingsincreasehighfrequencyresponse,creatingbrighterreverbs;lowerfrequencyset-
tings create darker reverbs with more bass frequency emphasis.
HPF
High Pass Filter Frequency
Reduce‘rumble’andundesirablemuddinessbycuttingthelowfrequencies.
