– Remove the oil filler cap (1) to ventilate the
crankcase. This is beneficial for bleeding
the oil.
– Place an oil pan (3) under the engine to col-
lect the used oil.
– Remove the oil drain plug (2) and allow the
oil to flow into the container. When the oil
has been drained completely, replace the
oil drain plug (2)
Tightening torque: 14-17 ft lbs(19.6-23.5 N·m,
2.0-2.4 kgf·m).
– Dispose of the used oil properly.
Filling up with engine oil
– Ensure that the engine is in a level position.
– Remove the oil filler cap (1).
– Add the specified amount of oil into the oil
inlet on the side of the upper part of the en-
gine.
– Wait three minutes and check the oil level.
– Add more oil as necessary.
– Replace the oil filler cap (1) and tighten by
hand. Over-tightening may damage the cap.
