Truck transport and lifting
Use a truck or flatbed trailer to carry
the forklift truck
The truck is normally transported by road and
rail complete with lift mast. If the truck's di-
mensions exceed the max. clearance size al-
lowed, it is transported with mast disassem-
bled.
The forklift must be secured to the transport
means during transport using appropriate re-
straint systems .
Lower the lift mast completely.
Tilt the lift mast forward.
NOTE
The fork arms must be resting on the ground.
Apply the parking brake as described in
chapter entitled"Parking brake".
Use two wedges to block each of the front
and rear wheels to prevent rolling.
Use ropes to secure the forklift truck on the
truck.
CAUTION
Also use ropes to secure the mast in the case that
the mast shall be disassembled during the transport.
