Chassis number
The truck serial number is stamped on the
lower crossmember of the chassis at the driv-
er's step plate
Production number
NOTE
The production number is used to identify the
truck. It can be found on the nameplate and
must be referred to in all technical questions.
The production number contains the following
coded information:
(1) Production location
(2) Model
(3) Year of manufacture
(4) Sequential number
