– Position the forks.
– Set the lift mast to vertical.
– Lift the fork carriage to the stacking height.
DANGER
Risk of accident due to changed moment of tilt!
If a truck is operated with a forwards tilt (variant) of
more than 3°, there is a greater risk of the load slip-
ping when the load is raised or lowered. The load
centre of gravity and the moment of tilt change when
the load slips. The truck may tip forwards.
– Only tilt the lift mast forwards with a raised lifting
accessory when it is directly above the stack.
– When the lift mast is tilted forward, take particular
care to ensure that the truck does not tip forwards
and that the load does not slip.
CAUTION
Component damage possible!
When inserting the fork into the racking, ensure that
the racking and load are not damaged.
– Insert the fork as far under the load as pos-
sible using the brake Inching pedal. Stop
the truck using the service brake as soon as
the fork back is resting against the load.
The load centre of gravity must be midway
between the fork arms.
