Other Commands and Reservations
Unit and element reservations are released or canceled by:
A Release command from the initiator that owns the reservation (original
initiator or the third party)
A Task Management reset:
Bus Device Reset Message
Target Reset
LUN Reset
An interface reset
A power-on reset of the library
If the library is reserved as a unit, the library processes only the following
commands from another initiator:
Prevent/Allow Medium Removal with Prevent bits set to 0
Inquiry
Release
Report LUNs
Request Sense
Log Sense
Read Element Status with the CurData bit set to 1 (currently not supported)
All other commands result in a Reservation Conflict status (18h).
